    Feb. 1, 2025 ~ Reverend Edwin Estevez is the son of Guatemalan immigrants, and grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey. He earned a Master of Divinity in Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. Since 2024, he’s been the senior pastor and head of staff of Kirk in the Hills Church, known as 'the Kirk', a congregation of the Presbyterian Church located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

    Jan. 25, 2025 ~ Bob Schwartz grew up in Ann Arbor, and earned a B.A. in economics and psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. From 1995 to 1998, he worked part-time at NBD as a banking representative. Since 2001, he’s been a senior vice president at Ave Maria Mutual Funds, which is a group of six no-load mutual funds, which are designed for serious, long-term investors who want to invest in accordance with their anti-abortion, Catholic beliefs.

    Jan. 18, 2024 ~ Matthew Pepper grew up in Grand Rapids. An episode of “The Crocodile Hunter” changed his life, leading him to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from Grand Valley State University. From 2008 to 2014 he held various leadership roles in the animal services sector in Louisiana, Tennessee, and New Mexico. Since 2014 he’s been the president & CEO of the Michigan Humane, a non-profit organization providing animal welfare and sheltering services to the metropolitan Detroit area.

    Jan. 11, 2025 ~ Loren Venegas grew up in Redford, Michigan of Mexican descent. He began working at age 15 as a dishwasher and spent 22 years in the restaurant industry. In 1995 he joined his brother Frank and The Ideal Group, where today he is the CEO. Ideal Group consists of six separate business units from design-build work for the construction industry to supply chain solutions for the major automakers. It is one of America's largest Hispanic-owned firms and has been awarded the General Motors Supplier of the Year Award 23 times.

    Jan. 4, 2025 ~ Chris Lambert grew up in Northern Indiana and earned a degree in marketing from Indiana University. He is the founder and President of "Life Remodeled," which repurposed Durfee Middle-Elementary School into a community innovation center focused on entrepreneurship, education, community, and beautifying over 300 surrounding blocks. He has recently purchased the former Dominican Girl's High School in Northeast Detroit to do a similar project.

After getting addicted to crystal meth, he became the Dallas uptown burglar. From 2009 to 2015, he served a prison sentence for organized crime. Today, he's a world-class inspirational speaker and an example of with God, anything is possible.

    Dec. 21, 2024 ~ Monsignor Thomas Rice grew up in Allen Park, Michigan, and earned a Doctorate in Ministry from Saint Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore. In 1977, he was ordained a priest, and from 1990 to 2014, he was the Pastor of St. Louise de Marillac. From 1999 to 2012, he was also the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Catholic. Since 2014 he’s been the Pastor of St. Thomas More Parish whose mission statement is to know Jesus, to love Jesus, and to serve Jesus.

    Dec. 15, 2024 ~ Kevin Rinke grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and earned a B.A. in Advertising from Michigan State University. In 1983 he joined his family’s business, Rinke Automotive Group, the oldest General Motors dealer in Michigan. From 1988 to 2003, he was the president of the Rinke Automotive Group, and from 2009 to 2014, he was the owner of Cassell & Associates which operates two traumatic brain injury centers. In 2022 he was unsuccessful in his run for Michigan Governor.
