The U.S. population is aging rapidly. The population of 65+ will double from 2018-2060. This phenomenon is called the silver tsunami.
In the latest edition of the Gifford Provider Podcast, Gifford social worker, Emily Pizzale discusses how the lack of caregivers, food insecurity and funding sources for nursing homes are ominous signs for the silver tsunami.
