Pete is a favourite performer around the folk club and festival scene, either as a solo artiste or performing as Pete & Sue McMahon duo, Postcard Trio or with Bad Wallaby, Heartdust and Rosella Bush Band. A regular performer at the Settlers Arms in St Albans with over 100 consecutive Saturday night shows. He is currently compiling a compilation of historical recordings of the “Poetry, Song & Lies Club Canberra 1975’.You name it – Pete has done it! From touring Australia, England, Scotland and China on his talents, working solo in the pubs in the English Midlands, performing in prison concerts in WA and NSW, extensive recording, film soundtracks, produced six albums, radio shows, song therapy, builder of over 200 musical instruments and touring with the Drifters. Pete has worked with the Southern Cross, Snale Gully, Conway Brothers, Flying Wombats, Heritage Ensemble, Ragged Band, Blue Gum, Stringybark, Jacaranda Ceilidh, String Fiddle Tradition and is the leader of the infamous McMahon Brothers.
