Just like Baseless Speculation, Marvel will never die baby! Captain America returns for another outing only he's a different bloke this time. Also there's a red hulk? and a surprisingly large amount of old dudes? Honestly I'm not even fully sure what is going on anymore but the point is we saw Captain America the one where he's a bird, so let's talk about I guess.

Time for another fun horse fact! Did you know Horses sleep standing up? Personally I hate that, but their legs lock into place through a system called "Stay Apparatus" and that allows them to get in a good nap without falling over. I don't know why I have such a violent reaction this fact, but it makes me trust horses even less.

Superman, like Baseless Speculation, is back baby! His big S stands for hope and that's exactly what we all are for this film! The boys are a big fan of Corenswet as a name, are a little afraid of anyone named Lachlan, especially if they're a lawyer and get lost in the blitz riff. Zammit still has faith in Gunn, Jackson is excited that Superman is doing something different and JD has a very special message for all those Snyder fans. Will this film be good? Will the audience go see it? Will it crack a billy? We don't know, the only thing we do know is that this was definitely recorded in 2025.

It's a new year, we're branching out from apes into horses (just like how I assume evolution did?) so this weeks horse face is that horses cannot burp or vomit. Their throat sphincter is just too strong. If it was any weaker they'd vomit every time they went for a run which would just be an incredible thing to watch. I guess this also means horses are very easy to poison. There ya go, two horse facts! What a way to open 2025.

Kraven producer Matt Tolmach said they were "excited about [Kraven] and Christmas is the best release period there is, when you get people with time to go back to the movies over and over again. That was a real reflection of how the studio felt about the movie. We're really excited. But that's a great move that reflects just the feeling about the movie". Was he right? Is Kraven the kind of movie that benefits from multiple rewatches? We here at Baseless Speculation had to find out. So with no concern for our physical or mental health, your three favourite boys (who love movies, who love their friends and who love seeing movies with their friends) decided to watch Kraven four times in one day. That meant arriving at the cinema at midday and leaving at midnight. Is Baseless Speculation stupid for doing this? Yes. The answer is yes. We shouldn’t have done this. The year is almost over and that means it's time for the BS Boys to look back over all the movies that got released and figure out what stupid lessons movie studios are going to learn for 2025. Jackson makes a pretty good prediction regarding Thunderbolts, Zammit thinks the Minecraft Movie is gonna do good, and Duscher yells at someone. Cinema rots on the vine and the BS Boys, like malicious little catterpillars, feast and feast and feast. At the movies!!

While neither an ape fact nor did we discuss it in the episode, but we reckon next year (and every subsequent year) will be the year of the ape. Apes are gonna be on the big screen, the silver screen, your little machines and reality TV. Don't be suprised when you go to the movies, you'll be greeted by an ape while another ape hands you a popcorn. It's a shock to everyone but Agatha All Along is actually pretty good. Probably the best Marvel TV show of the Disney+ era. Who'd have guessed? But now, with a certified hit on their hands, what's Disney Marvel gonna do with it? Jackson apologises for his lack of faith, Zammit predicts Agatha going into Vision somehow, and Duscher almost gets very sick. So join the boys as they walk the witches road together and try not to kill each other along the way.

For today's sad ape fact, did you know that in certain parts of the world ape bones are used to make charms to render the user invulnerable to wild beasts? Ape body parts are used in medicine, trophies, ornaments, magic rituals, ceremonies and other cultural practices with the most sough-after and expensive being the ape's left hand as it holds particular spiritual power. You see, to the gods, ape equal to man so spirit of ape is as powerful as spirit of man. So why sacrifice man when ape will do? I mean, personally I'd sacrifice neither, but who am I to say?

Zammit has some useful advice regarding babies and screens, Duscher thinks it's time for another American Pie, and Jackson is tricked by his good friends into agreeing to watch Defenders somehow. What show will be good? What if S2? Iron-Heart? Daredevil Born Again? Marvel Zombies? Eyes of Wakanda? Wonder Man? It is truly exhausting to have this much content.

Did you know that Kanzi the Bonobo has a favourite film? It's Quest for Fire! Kanzi probably sees themselves in at least all of the main characters we reckon. That ape can also play Minecraft, make a campfire and cook food. We really are doing great stuff with apes.

It's been a long road but we're finally here. A fourth spiderman movie. A quadology. Tom Holland's Spiderman's adventures continue. Jackson revolutionises names, Zammit draws comparisons between cricketers and Dave Warneke, and Duscher becomes momentarily obsessed with people net worths. The boys also get extremely heated about grapes. Extremely heated.

Did you know that chimpanzees prefer grapes over carrots? Willing to climb higher and walk further for grapes instead of a little stroll for carrot. And rightly so. Carrots are dirt food that grow in the dirt like horrible sweet potato which is a suck ass food for dumb little babies.
