  • Josiah and Judah tell the stories of their favorite Bible heroes. In this story, Abraham is called the friend of God because God made a covenant with him. When God asked Abraham to honor that covenant and give Him his son, Isaac, Abraham obeyed God. The Bible says that Abraham’s faith was counted to him as righteousness. Abraham is a hero because he trusted the Lord’s promise to give him a son, and through Isaac, Jesus would be able to come to the earth.
