  • Brett debuted for Western Australia in 2004 and within two years had played for Australia. This came after his professional cricket career started at age 27 with a snowboarding accident earlier leaving him seriously injured and any kind of sport seeming unlikely.

    We were glad to hear more of his route to the first class game and the nature of his retirement which led to lows before building a new life through brand new experiences.

    The honesty in sharing his struggles and the key messages are ones we were grateful to hear.
