  • When the son of a prominent government official goes missing, who do the police turn to? Zeke Adams has been an independent investigator ever since he was forced out of the Cleveland Police. Now that he’s no longer constrained by department politics, he’s gotten good at his job, but he might not be good enough to save someone’s life. Or his own... While in the midst of investigating a routine case of blackmail, the police approach Zeke to help with a case so sensitive that they’ve hushed up the crime to protect the high-level official involved. However, every day that passes without an arrest brings the department and the city spiraling closer to disaster.
