We've gotten many things all wrong.
So in this season, God is exposing our errors as He calls forth abundant, KINGDOM living.
And it feels like everything is changing.
Life as we once knew it is gone on so many levels and our understanding of ourselves and our place here on earth is being honed.
We are also begining to understand, to truly grapple with, the good we call evil and the evil we call good.
To that end, our God is again unveiling what it looks like to live in intimate relationship with Him. We are begining to once again wrap our collective minds around the abundance He has given us to enjoy, because "He who loves men, loves their joy." (The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky.)
Today, Gisela Kreglinger, author of CUP OVERFLOWING, does a brilliant, poetic job of bringing these truths into focus through discussion of the gift of wine over the centuries. The Bible is full of illustrations of wine as God's blessing.
It is time we put aside the enemy's lies where this blessing of God is concerned.
If you are one of those who has been made to feel wine is something to avoid, or worse, to consume in secret, I hope we cover most of your concerns today.
Even if you are one who has always enjoyed good wine, if you listen in, I think you will gain marvelous perspective regarding the love of your Creator for you through wine.
