The Journey to Aman and the Lights of the Two Trees was not one of peace. For the children of Eru would undergo sorrow and separation. Losing sight of their kin for many years, near beyond measure. But one group would stay steadfast. The Nolder, The Vanyar and some Teleri would follow the path led by Orome and heeding the call of Ulmo did reach the shores of Valinor.
But many did not. For the love of their King held fast the kin of Elwe to abide in the forest of Beleriand until his return. And many others held fear as their sway and stayed to abide by the shores of the Sea of Sirion. Thus the sundering of the Quendi continued.
