  • A certified film producer, director, and writer, CHRISTINE W. CHEN has won awards from the Academy. Christine holds both an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs and a B.A. from Rice University. Since 2010, Christine has created, directed, and edited more than 15 short films, two features, and numerous more projects.

     

    Films by Christine have screened at festivals like Bermuda International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, and New Orleans Film Festival. Erzulie, a feminist thriller swamp mermaid movie she recently completed, is now accessible via video on demand. She has been working in the field as a full-time DGA QL 1st Assistant Director since 2016. Get Reelisms, her recently self-published book for aspiring filmmakers, was published in 2019.
