    Episode 57: Slow Down.

Sometimes you need to slow down to do it right, gain control, maintain form, be present, be your best. And sometimes you need to slow down to speed up, go faster, go further, do more. This is about running, for sure. Easy runs and long runs and speed runs. But this is not about running too. Sometimes you need to slow down to be in the moment, the conversation, the life you are living.

This one was inspired by the Olympic Trials but also inspired by the trials we get through each and every day. Hope you enjoy the episode.

    Cheers,
    Coach Bennett

  • Failing Not Failure
    Jun 27 2024

    Episode 56. Failing Not Failure
This episode is straight up inspired by the Olympic Trials. There is far more "failing" going on than "succeeding" at the Olympic Trials if we are narrowly defining failing. Well, this episode is about blowing up narrow definitions. Because this is what you need to know... if you are setting big goals, taking on great challenges, chasing after extraordinary achievements.... you are going to come up short from time to time... you are going to stumble... you are going to fail. That does not make you are a failure. It makes you a badass.

Are you fired up? I'm fired up! Because this is a great episode and we even get a Mindset Minute with the always extraordinary coach tammie bennett of the Show Up Society.

    Cheers,
    Coach Bennett

  • Finding Your Pace
    Jun 20 2024

    Episode 55. Finding Your Pace

It's one of those things that so many runners are looking for... hunting for... searching for. Their PACE! If only there was a map. Well, this episode tries to help you find that elusive pace or should I say elusive paces? Because you have more than one pace. That's because you have more than one effort you run with. And you have more than one purpose to run for.

There are Easy Runs & Tempo Runs & Fartlek Runs & Intervals & Long Runs. They all ask for different paces. Terrain and weather and life and fitness demand that you adjust your paces. You've got strengths and weaknesses and they both can have an effect on your paces. And all your paces change because of changes in places and head-spaces and faces and races.

Does it seem like a lot? Don't worry! We cover it all in 46 minutes. And we even have time for a Mindset Minute with coach tammie bennett of the Show Up Society and we also open up the mailbag! Episode #55 is a great one. Thank you for checking it out!

    Cheers,
    Coach Bennett
