  • Résumé

  • Come Out, Come Out is a podcast about coming out of the closet, and it’s also a funny, joyful exploration of love, sex and the pursuit of happiness.

Each episode explores a real-life story of coming out from the perspectives of some fabulous guests, including superstar author Roxane Gay, Mae Martin from the hit Netflix series Feel Good, Survivor star Zeke Smith, The Half of It director Alice Wu, and many others.

The podcast offers fresh answers to the age-old questions of what it takes to love others and to love yourself. Every episode takes on questions that are deeply personal, completely unexpected and totally fascinating. How do you come out to your Chinese immigrant mom when she never taught you the word for lesbian in Mandarin? What’s it like to be outed as trans on a nationally-broadcast reality show? What do you do when watching the witches in the movie Hocus Pocus triggers sex dreams that you can’t control?

Hosted by standup comic Mo Welch, she details her own romantic life - from her first female crush to marrying another woman - and shares what she’s learned about love and life along the way.

Amazing podcast

More please! As a person who has experienced shame & fear being queer, this podcast was really refreshing to listen to. The interviews and stories were lighthearted, funny and tearful at times. Very supportive towards closeted folks and enjoyable for those of us that have been out for a while as well! I would love to hear more!

love this podcast

I didn't know how badly I needed to hear these poignant stories. And how completely apropos it is to have a comedian set it up. Humour is such a lifesaving parachute when your'e dropping behind the "enemy" lines where you can expect to find triggers trauma courage and love. These stories all touched my heart ... via my funnybone.

Absolutely loved listening!

I enjoyed everything about this podcast, it was so validating to listen to as a young queer person! The reason I gave performance only 4 stars is because of one tiny thing; the sound of a can being opened and chugged can be very triggering to alcoholics in recovery. Other than that, everything was absolutely amazing!
