  • Résumé

  • Welcome to Come Through, Liberation, a podcast where we create an inclusive, interactive community between the hosts, guests, and listeners. Hosts, Ina Camille (she/her) and TJ Speaks (they/them), are two Black folks on a mission to find out why our society is like this and more importantly, how we can unfuck ourselves by asking questions about collective liberation. Come Through Liberation will encourage authenticity, transparency and vulnerability as we explore our way through questions of liberation in our current settler colonial framework.

In this episode: 🎤- Ethan (he/him they/them) introduces himself and explains why redemptive relationships are the only types of relationships he’s interested in. 🎤- We explore Psychological Safety as the foundation for all meaningful relationships and outcomes - and why we need to aim for a world where “firsts” are no longer a mark of success. 🎤- Learn why “safe spaces” don’t really exist, but how we can continue to work to co-create spaces we all want to inhabit. 🎤- Why Chicago’s queer scene leaves people within the LGBTQIA+ community out and why diversity and inclusion are a lot harder to achieve than queer communities admit. 🎤- Ethan shares his experiences learning to understand “guy code” since transitioning and how he’s learned to free himself from limiting narratives and to define himself for himself. 🎤- We discuss the allegations against Diddy, the willful ignorance that exists in the media, why we need to see footage to believe victims of violence and how it’s rooted in toxic forms of masculinity and patriarchy.
