  • Beware Judicial Supremacism Ruining Trump’s Term | 1/27/25
    Jan 27 2025
Following the first week of the Trump administration, we have a lot of good policies and some bad ones. Our job is to cement the good ones into enduring victories while swiftly swatting down the bad ones. One of the challenges will be the courts. They are already standing up for illegal aliens and preventing states from enforcing the laws. I go through immigration, foreign policy, and spending to show how there is a ton of potential but also conflicting policies. Also, Trump should push for maritime removals and then anchor the ships off the coasts of nations that refuse to readmit them. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Why Anchor-Baby Citizenship Is Actually Repugnant to the Constitution | 1/24/25
    Jan 24 2025
Today, we offer the full case against anchor-baby jurisprudence. I’m joined by Amy Swearer, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, who has written scholarly papers showing conclusively that the plain meaning of the 14th Amendment was not adopting unqualified birthright citizenship for foreigners and most certainly not for illegal aliens and temporary visitors. The entire philosophy of citizenship, both pre- and post-adoption of the 14th Amendment, was built upon consent and allegiance. Amy explains why Wong Kim Ark expresses a false view of history but at the same time is clear that birthright citizenship cannot apply to those here against the national consent. • Andy Biggs for Arizona Governor! | 1/23/25
    Jan 23 2025
We begin today by continuing to connect the dots between the tech bros, Arab donors, and this push for AI data centers. It is reverberating across other important issues as well, such as immigration and foreign policy. These donors are continuing to steer Trump’s administration in the direction of Biden’s foreign policy. Next, we’re joined by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), a former Freedom Caucus chair, who tells us why he is considering running for Arizona governor. He feels that Arizona is at a crossroads, and he wants to wean the state off federal dependence. We go into great detail on the federal budget and the need to bend the trajectory of spending and health care programs. He is working hard to put transformative spending cuts into budget reconciliation. Biggs also discusses other potential opportunities to enact good legislation without the obstacle of the Senate filibuster. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Do We Know Enough Information About the Data Center Investments? | 1/22/25
    Jan 22 2025
We need to avoid playing "Lucy and the football" like we did during the first administration. I stress the need to fight to enshrine the good proposals of this administration but also to raise red flags about problematic trends. Trump has made it a priority to facilitate a half-trillion-dollar investment in seeding the country with AI centers. It is understandable to want to compete in AI innovation, but we need to understand where this money is coming from and where it’s headed. Right off the bat, the Oracle CEO painted a dystopian vision of transhumanism with mRNA technology that will violate informed consent. I also lay out many concerns for local communities and how the feds might be using emergency powers, cronyism, and venture socialism to strong-arm our communities with beacons of foreign control, land-grabs, cultural transformation, and a surveillance state. • Grand Optimism and Vigorous Vigilance Will Net Enduring Victories | 1/21/25
    Jan 21 2025
Today, I analyze Trump’s first day in office in general and the executive orders specifically. On the one hand, most of the orders are not yet enduring and we still have to cross a number of hurdles. But on the other hand, the willingness to get rid of things like birthright citizenship demonstrates that the sky is the limit in terms of the mandate. We need to think much bigger. There is no reason why Trump can’t use his unprecedented bully pulpit and veto threat to get more out of Congress. It also shows that we don’t need to accept liberal policies from this administration. Trump is willing to deliver what we demand, so why back down? Keep the optimism, but let’s vigilantly guard against bad influences on this administration so that it will endure for years to come. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Setting the Proper Expectations for This Presidency | 1/20/25
    Jan 20 2025
The excuses are over. The Democrats, the media, and their enablers have all been defeated. Trump has the greatest mandate, bully pulpit, and consolidation of power in modern history. He can use that power to crush the Left, or he can use that power to crush the right. It’s that simple. I lay out some realistic expectations of what Trump needs to do on energy and immigration beyond the initial executive orders. I also make the case for why a renewal and expansion of the travel ban from Islamic countries is absolutely vital and is an example of an enduring victory that we must forge. It will also be very revealing to see if he listens to the voices of original MAGA figures or some of these new globalist donors. It is our job to fight for the good forces in this administration and call out the subversive ones. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • Is Politics a Means or an End in Itself? | 01/17/25
    Jan 17 2025
The most important question in politics is this: Who treats politics as a means to policy outcomes, and who treats it as an end in itself? If you are in the former camp, you will be more appalled when Republicans do liberal things because that prevents us from ever achieving our goals. I use this theme to provide updates on the atrocious hostage deal, budget reconciliation, and some of the Cabinet confirmation hearings. Republicans are now going to the media and bashing the only plan on the table to actually cut spending. Why? Because politics is an end in itself. Finally, I discuss why the housing and credit crises are all related to the inflation-driven spending, yet Republicans are making up excuses to distract from cutting spending. • What We MUST Do in the Wake of the Israel Hostage Deal | 1/16/25
    Jan 16 2025
Today, I dispel all of the loser arguments in favor of a hostage deal supported by Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, Biden, and every Democrat around. What we witnessed yesterday was the power and danger of the purported right-wing leader joining with the Left to crush us. It doesn’t have to be this way. I believe we are at a crossroads. If we ramp up the pressure on Trump, there are still good things we can do. I make the case for divesting from Qatar and shoring up Trump’s foreign policy to make sure he doesn’t endorse a Palestinian state. I also share some thoughts about DeSantis’ pick of Ashley Moody for the vacant Florida Senate seat. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
