Conversation with The Rev. Amity Carrubba

  • Résumé

  • In this episode, we sit down with The Rev. Amity Carrubba, who shares her inspiring journey and the profound impact of her worldwide experiences on her "three feet of influence."

The Rev. Amity is a true citizen of the world, a military kid who grew up in two countries (the United States and Germany) and several communities across the country. Trained as a scientist, she worked in pharmaceutical research before taking a leap of faith to take part in a young adult service program. This life-changing experience eventually led to studying theology at Episcopal Divinity School, mission work in Kenya and diverse American communities, and ordained ministry. She is passionate about social justice and community engagement and lives that out, as the Board Chair of Magdalene House, a home and enterprise for positive, personal change for women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution, and addiction in the Chicagoland area. She is currently the first called female Rector at Grace Episcopal Church in Chicago.

Discover how Amity applies her insights to create positive change in her community and beyond. Whether you're interested in personal growth, community engagement, or simply love a good story, this episode is for you!
