    In a highly-anticipated return to competition, Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev did not get the welcome back he would have hoped for. After joining Falcons on loan until the end of the year, he and the team have gone winless after seven maps together so far.

    The field has been whittled down to eight teams, who are now one victory away from qualifying for the event in Berlin.
    The Thunderpick World Championship group stage has come to a close, with fnatic, OG, Imperial and BESTIA securing the last four spots in the Play-in stage.

    fnatic bounced back from a 0-2 loss to The MongolZ with a three-map win over Cloud9 in Group B's decider stage, while OG piled more misery on Virtus.pro, this time in a two-map affair in Group A, with Maciej "⁠F1KU⁠" Miklas leading the charge with a 1.42 rating.

    On October 25th, 2024, we stand on the precipice of ESL Challengers Katowice, the next big LAN that everyone’s looking forward to in the Counter-Strike circuit. Amongst the many matchups that everyone is looking forward to, fans are particularly interested in seeing how well Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev will play at his first LAN tournament in months. While he did demonstrate great form at the Thunderpick World Championship, his team didn’t measure and largely bore the responsibility of defeat.

  • 1: YaLLa Esports Reveals Information About Future Events

    On October 23rd, 2024, the Counter-Strike community was pleased to hear some informative announcements from YaLLa Esports. For those tuning in for the first time, YaLLa Esports are famous for organizing the YaLLa Compass events we see every year. In today’s announcement, they have unveiled three events planned for 2026 as well as shared format and prize information regarding their upcoming events in 2025.
    In 2026, YaLLa Esports has planned:
    1. A LAN event in Qatar during the first quarter of the year (January - March)
    2. A LAN event in an undisclosed location during the second or third quarter (April - September)
    3. A LAN event in the United Arab Emirates during the last quarter of the year (October - December)
