Joining me today is TEIGR, a London-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer known for his versatility and eclectic repertoire.

In our conversation, we explored a range of topics, including the distinction between cultural appropriation and appreciation in music production and composition and the responsibilities of a music producer in honouring sacred sounds and abstract music.

My goal was to create a space for open dialogue, where we could ask critical questions and delve into the ethical aspects of music creation. What responsibilities do composers have? How should we handle sacred and culturally sensitive sounds in our music compositions, productions, and more?

Welcome to the debut episode of Creative Frequency! On today's episode, I am joined by Teddy Prout, educator, musician, and director of learning and engagement at the Philharmonia Orchestra.
