In this episode, Peter Gilmore catches up with Garry Crothers (Chairman of Foyle Sailability Centre) and Ken Curry (Secretary of Foyle Sailability Centre and RYA Northern Ireland's Regional Sailability Coordinator). With their work, they help give people of all abilities the opportunity to get out on the water to try sailing or boating for the first time.

Ken and Garry have also sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and Garry has completed the trip on his own despite only having one arm!

Bill O'Hara is one of Northern Ireland's most decorated sailors, competing in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics in the Finn class. He now works for the Irish and Danish sailing team and will be attending the Paris 2024 Olympics as a rules advisor.

CEO of The Tall Ships Youth Trust, Alastair Floyd, comes on Crest Of The Wave. He was able to give fascinating insights into the benefits that sailing and boating can have to the lives of young people across the UK. This year the trust is looking for individuals to join them on a voluntary basis to assist on boats competing in The Rolex Fastnet Race 2025.
