DVC changes transfer point rules Disney Vacation Club has added an addendum to the multi-site public offering statement that governs all DVC resorts in regards to the transfer of points. Point transfers are transfers of points between Members. Transfers can only be done once per year per contract, whether transferring points in or out. Points retain their home resort and original use year when transferred and can be used by the receiving owner at the 11-month window. Previously only points in their original use year could be transferred. Now all points that are eligible, including points that are banked or borrowed. Note that once points are banked or borrowed, they cannot change use year again and would retain the use year even after the transfer.
