  • Penny's from Heaven, the Gaza Riviera and other MAGA Nonsense & Musk's Team of Neophytes
    Feb 16 2025

    Welcome to episode thirty-three of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    1) The good news is that Daniel Penny, a hero who saved subway riders from violence and who was unfairly prosecuted by Manhattan DA Bragg, found a job and the start of a career;

    2) Trump's preposterous proposal to turn Gaza into a US-operated resort called the Gaza Riviera and how his supporters seem to think every absurd pronouncement he makes is an act of genius, including his imperialist impulses to rename things like the Gulf of Mexico; and

    3) How Elon Musk's team at DOGE is staffed with 19-25-year-olds with no government experience yet given access to sensitive national security information, the troubling conflicts of interest, the plethora of court rulings blocking this insane overreach, and the hapless Democrat opposition. We also discuss how the new US Attorney in DC, Ed Martin, plans to prosecute anyone who impedes DOGE, yet that's not even a crime.

  • 32: Subway Sanitation, Hochul's Reparation Folly, Albany's Criminal Coddling Democrats, NYU-Langone's Transgender Kerfuffle & Musk's Dangerous Takeover of Treasury's Payment Systems.
    Feb 9 2025

    Welcome to episode thirty-two of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    1) Stu's encounter with a young lady on the subway on her way to school clipping her nails but redeeming herself by not littering;

    2) Kathy Hochul's reparation committee and the outrageousness of making any such payments when slavery ended 150 years ago and the victims of which are long dead;

    3) Albany liberals refused to reform NY's criminal justice reform laws even when asked to do so by state district attorneys, including the pro-criminal Manhattan DA, fat Alvin Bragg.

    4) NYU-Langone Medical Center's refusal to perform gender-affirming surgery on minors due to Trump's executive order, which threatens to pull funding of providers performing such procedures; and

    5) Trump's dangerous decision to allow Elon Musk access to US Treasury payment systems could potentially jeopardize our national security and finances since Musk has no legal authority to assume this role or much oversight.

  • 31: Disgrace at the Pentagon, Trump's Surrender to Musk, Not So Sweet Caroline, EPA Antics, & the Spending Freeze Debacle
    Feb 2 2025

    Welcome to episode thirty-one of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    1) How Trump blamed DEI for the tragic plane crash in DC when, in truth, Elon Musk forced the former head of the FAA out on inauguration day, and there was no acting director in place because the FAA had fined Musk's company, SpaceX. We can't understand why Trump would be ceding his presidential duties to Musk and worry that when they fall out, there will be no telling which government Musk will try to run next.

    2) The petty act of removing General Milley's portrait from the Pentagon and stripping him of his security detail and how this wasn't the behavior we expect from the President of the United States;

    3) Caroline Kennedy's scathing condemnation of RFK Jr. and his disastrous performance at his Senate confirmation hearings, where he lied about his stance on vaccines and displayed disturbing ignorance about Medicaid, a program he would be responsible for managing as Secretary of HHS;

    4) The shocking cast of characters Trump has filled the EPA with, including one official who fought for the use of asbestos.

    5) The completely embarrassing executive order and OMB memo freezing spending, which caused Medicaid portals to shut down in all 50 states, disrupting health care delivery, and the backtracking that occurred when the memo had to be rescinded, yet his press secretary insisted the freeze was still in place.

  • 30: A Less Than Magnanimous Inauguration, Trump's and Biden's Pardons & Penn's Free Speech Double Standard
    Jan 26 2025

    Welcome to episode thirty of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    1) A summary of Trump's inauguration, including his mean-spirited address, Melania's ridiculous hat, the slew of executive orders, many of which are already being challenged in court, and the Democrat's hypocritical and hapless attacks on cabinet nominees, most notably Pete Hegseth;

    2) A discussion of Trump's disgraceful pardons of the violent Jan. 6 rioters as well as Biden's pardon of his family, the members of the Jan. 6 Committee, Dr. Fauci, and other controversial selections; and

    3) Professor Laurie Wax's lawsuit against the University of Pennsylvania for violating her free speech rights and how it was hypocritical for Penn to discipline her no matter how offensive her statements may have been, notably since Penn's former President, Liz Magill, testified before Congress claiming that whether calling for the genocide of Jews violated Penn's policies depended on the context.

    2) Stu recounts what he encounters as he strolls NYC streets, including a plaque commemorating Union soldiers.

    3) Kathy Hochul's outrageous flip-flop on congestion pricing and how it is merely another tax on the working class that will be used to subsidize the losses from fare evasion that the Democrats won't prosecute or punish.

    4) Eugene Lang's private philanthropy and how he helped underserved communities obtain higher education.

    Welcome to episode twenty-eight of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    2) Biden further disgraces the Presidency by awarding Presidential Medals of Freedom to Hillary Clinton, George Soros, and Anna Wintour, which has caused universal condemnation;

    3) A sex scandal involving former Chief of the NYPD, Jeffrey Maddrey, who paid significant overtime to female staff who he was romantically entangled with.

    4) The tragic California wildfires and how the situation has been mishandled by the progressive Mayor, Karen Bass, who left the state for Ghana after being warned that Los Angeles was in danger, and the mismanagement of California's natural resources by state and federal officials, most notably Gavin Newson, a shameless opportunist with no integrity.

  • 27: The Real Jimmy Carter, Paul Whelan's Travails, Liberal Assaults on Alcohol, & Stu's Subway Story
    Jan 5 2025

    Welcome to the first 2025 episode of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

    1) Jimmy Carter's death and his mixed legacy, which includes his post-presidential humanitarian work and his disastrous presidency that left the Middle East in tatters;

    2) A discussion of Paul Whelan, who was detained in Russia until recently, and how his employer, Borg-Warner, mistreated him;

    3) The U.S. surgeon general's call for warning labels on alcohol in the last gasps of the Biden Administration seems questionable since the liberals seem to ignore the obvious mental and physical health issues caused by legalized marijuana.

    4) Stu's outburst on the New York subway over a passenger who littered that almost caused a riot on the train.

  • 26: Biden's Empathy for Child Killers, Trump Squandering his Meager Mandate, & a Saintly Single Mother
    Dec 29 2024

    Welcome to the post-Christmas episode of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. Here is what is on deck for this week's milestone episode.

    1) A discussion of Biden's decision to commute the sentences of Federal death row inmates, including those who murdered federal witnesses and children.

    2) A recent incident on the F train in New York City where an illegal immigrant, Sebastian Zapeta, set a sleeping woman on fire and killed her.

    3) The various warning signs that Trump 2.0 is blowing any chance of success with the spending bill mishap in the House are based on Elon Musk's input, several questionable Cabinet appointments, including Matt Gaetz's failed nomination as Attorney General, who was condemned in a House ethics report for committing statutory rape, heavy drug abuse, and spending $90K on prostitutes, and Trump's desire to take back the Panama Canal and buy Greenland.

    4) We revisit the story of Mickey Barreto, the scammer who tried to claim ownership of the New Yorker Hotel. Apparently, not only was Mickey a con artist, but he also was an abusive father to his son Paul, who escaped the hotel room and was taken in by a single mother, Jennifer Ryan, who plans to adopt him. Even better, Paul has become a promising musician despite his troubled upbringing.
