After 284 games played this NFL season... only one remains... Super Bowl 59! While the matchup between the Chiefs and Eagles isn't the most original (or favorable for some viewers), the stage is set for what should be a phenomenal game of football to conclude the season. John and Seamus relive the games that got both of these teams to this point, make their predictions for the big game, and make their picks for the NFL Award winners.

Seamus is understandably disappointed by Notre Dame's loss to Ohio State in the National Championship game, but he can't help but be excited about what's to come in the Marcus Freeman era. The Decleated duo also play the three word game to recap the NFL Divisional round games, which includes impromptu rants about Patrick Mahomes, NFL officiating, and oblivious Lions fans. Finally, John and Seamus give their predictions for the NFC and AFC Championship games, and their ideal Super Bowl LIX matchup.

After a disappointing loss to the Eagles, Seamus reflects on the Packers season and optimistically looks to the future. John reflects on the 5 day football weekend including the NFL wildcard games and CFB semifinals. They also preview the NFL divisional round matchups and are both riding with a HUGE underdog. Lastly, Seamus anxiously awaits his Fighting Irish to battle the Buckeyes in the first 12-team CFB Playoff national championship!

John can't help but express his disappointment with the Giants' decision to retain Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll for another season. However, this outcome was not the worst case scenario and Seamus tries to instill some optimism about the opportunity this regime has to bounce back this offseason. Then, Seamus also expresses some disappointment with the way the Packers finished the regular season. John returns the favor as the voice of reason and reminds Seamus to take a breath before the Packers make their second consecutive appearance as the youngest team in the NFL Playoffs. The Duo also puts a bow on the NFL regular season which has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Finally, John and Seamus make their picks for NFL Wildcard Weekend and the College Football Playoff Semifinals.

A disappointed John and Seamus discuss the (very different) misfortunes of the Giants and Packers. John has an eerily familiar feeling with the Giants, where the team proved they could not tank successfully. On the other hand, Seamus was disgusted to see the Packers who have been steadily improving the last 3-4 weeks, revert to their early season woes as they fall to 1-4 against NFC North opponents. The duo discuss the implications of their teams misgivings and discuss the weekend of non-meaningful CFB bowl games, most notably the Pop Tart Bowl!

The Packers stay hot as they pitch the first shutout of the 2024 NFL season against the Saints. Seamus recaps the recent success of the Pack and discusses what they need to do to stay hot as the playoffs approach. The duo discuss other playoff teams in the NFL, specifically the AFC, as Christmas Day showcased the best and worst of teams who have already clinched playoff spots in that conference. They then shift focus to the CFB Playoff which was kicked off last weekend and preview the second round of the CFBP.

Another loss for the Giants means another introspective conversation about the team. John and Seamus also recap the most complete win of the season so far from the Packers. The duo preview a weekend filled with NFL playoff implications and the first round of the CFB playoffs!

The Decleated Duo are ecstatic about the first ever 12-team playoff bracket, but have to contain their excitement until they discuss the Packers and Giants. Seamus is tired of the Packers' moral victories, but perhaps their loss to Detroit last week is the first one he can get behind. John on the other hand, was disappointed but not at all surprised by the Giants' last second loss to the Saints. With that said, maybe he's actually optimistic about the Gmen righting the ship next season. Finally, the Duo breakdown the seeding and overall CFP bracket process, as well as give their predictions from the first round to the championship.
