In the United States, pregnant women and women within one year of giving birth are dying at astonishing rates. It does not matter the age, economic background, or level of education. Georgia has one of the highest maternal mortality rates within the United States.  We invited Doula, Patricia Prime the owner of Prime Baby Time Consulting to discuss the several issues behind maternal mortality rate, breast feeding vs. Formula, and more. 

Patricia works with families in the postpartum period; offering support, information, instruction, comfort, and referrals as needed. She supports the mother’s recovery, give instruction on infant care and feeding, and assist with household organization.
