  • Whenever you visit U Mawnguid Briew at Mawbeh which is a bit far from Shillong, you will
    notice a scratch on its back. The reason for this is because this Rock had swallowed two
    children for no reason and therefore the scratches on the Rock’s back was from the
    children’s tiny hands who struggled to escape from its grasp.
