    Marisa Miranda è laureata in lettere e in lingue straniere. A 18 anni è scappata dalla Basilicata, sua terra di origine che ama e che odia, per poi andare a vivere e insegnare prima a Firenze e poi a Varese. Testarda, polemica e vittimista, ma sempre disponibile se qualcuno ha bisogno, ha frequentato la scuola di scrittura creativa di Mirko Tondi. È appassionata di letteratura, ovviamente, ma anche di lingue straniere, di teatro e di musica, in particolare la lirica. Spenderebbe tutti i suoi soldi in viaggi, spettacoli teatrali e libri. Il suo racconto è liberamente ispirato ad un clochard di origine serba che incontrava spesso a Firenze, nel suo quartiere di Borgo Ognissanti.
