The Electronic Learning Management Systems (LMS) Podcast E-LMS Podcast Hosted by: David Hatami, Ed.D. (abd)
Learning management systems (LMS’s) are commonly used but rarely understood. The Electronic Learning Management Systems Podcast seeks to explore this up-and-coming electronic medium, discussing, how they work, why they work, and the potential for future innovation as we have only begun to understand their true potential.
The E-LMS Podcast hosts conversations with movers-and-shakers of this fledgling industry and their end users. Now, successfully deploying a proprietary, E-LMS portal, is predicated on understanding their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and limitations. So, for this reason, the show dives into both educational and corporate opportunities afforded us by this magnificent technology. Offering industry-wide conversations and platform reviews for: educators, human resource professionals, learning design professionals, corporate trainers/managers, instructional technologists, curriculum designers, and not to mention, those who dare to be technology innovators.
With hundreds of brand names (i.e., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc..) it’s easy to get confused and lost in the tech. Weather used for educating children, online college courses; or, to train new hires for employment opportunities, or to upskill current employees, their applications offer upcoming generations countless opportunities of information sharing. Understanding how to harness their ability, while simultaneously connecting users with new ways to share information, requires deep systemic understanding of many disciplines that we will explore on the show.
The electronic learning management system podcast is a show for anyone interested in the applications as well as their potential for future innovation.
