Happy new year, Scorekeepers! It's the first episode of 2025 and have we got spicy one for you today. First, there's a new season of RuPaul's Drag Race upon us, so you know we have to have a chat about these new girls (and drag Katy Perry)! Then, Rocky recently tried dipping his toe into the fiction pond with presumptive Oscar contender Emilia Pérez and... it didn't go well. It got us thinking that, of course, representation of minoritized groups in art is important, but what happens when the things being represented are tired stereotypes and problematic tropes? Who or what does that serve? And then, as always, we end with a little PBJ for your soul to snack on. Let's do it to it!
