  • Who first had the idea of Canvas location Nottingham? If you guessed Emma Woods - you’re right! Emma grew up in Birmingham and moved to Nottingham to attend university. Her story is one of perseverance, determination and, as she puts it, “stubbornness”. Emma, now in the final year of her PhD, reflects on her time at university and gives you a behind the scenes look at how she got to where she is today. This episode is dedicated to Emma’s Nan, the woman who raised Emma and who is celebrating her birthday today!
