À propos de cet audio
I have finished two basements now. I want to share what I have learned from these experiences with you.
- Get a city permit. You never know what could come back on you. You don’t want to have any issues.
- This is time consuming. Whether you are on the phone with a contractor, getting supplies, or working in your basement on the weekend, you will spend a lot of time finishing your basement.
- You will save a lot of money. You will literally save thousands of dollars.
- It will take more time than if you hire out. When you finish your basement on your own, this is obviously not your full time job like it would be for a contractor you would hire.
- It can be hard to find subcontractors. Finding trustworthy contractors who want to do a small job on the side may be challenging.
Have you finished your own basement? What are things you learned? Do you agree or disagree with what I have learned? Let me know in the comments!
