She was at the Equality Now Gala talking to all the stars! Equality Now is a global leader in using the law to advance gender equality and end all forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls. Its staff of human rights lawyers, coalition builders, and advocates spans more than 25 countries and partners with survivors and allies in 179 countries worldwide. Over the last 30 years, Equality Now has helped establish the international legal frameworks that now serve as the bedrock for advancing women's and girls’ human rights and reformed more than 85 sex-discriminatory laws worldwide–including 14 just last year, which benefited 39.2 million women and girls. The Equality Now's Make Equality Reality Gala is a lively and creative arts-based event that brings together business leaders, philanthropists, celebrity artists and changemakers from around the world to celebrate our progress toward a more gender equality world. The program will feature musical acts, creative performances and special guest speakers as we celebrate and pay tribute to those who offer tangible proof that women's voices, leadership and solidarity are key in creating a better world for all.
