  • An interview with Angus Smith, a first-year university student who's studying a Bachelor of International Relations and a Bachelor of Commerce double degree at the Australian National University. He's aiming at a career in diplomacy, foreign affairs, and national security.


    In 2024, Angus was named the Young Citizen of the Year for the City of Wagga Wagga, due to his commitment to the local community and advocacy for human rights, civic engagement, and persons with a disability. Additionally, he volunteers at a local disability provider among other causes.


    Angus has represented his region, state, and country at various events, notably as a delegate to the 12th University Scholars Leadership Symposium, which is extraordinary for a first-year student.
