  • It was August 1867. It was a beautiful, sunny day.

    In a small market town located in the South of England, Fanny Adams (8) her sister Lizzie (6) and Fanny's friend Minnie Warner (8) were playing in the local meadow - chasing butterflies, paddling in the river, giggling and shrieking with joy. They didn't have a care in the world.

    But they were being watched. And what happened next changed the lives of a whole town forever.
