Dr. Antoinette Shields earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. She served in the United States Army as an Ordnance Officer and is a combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving with the 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas. She was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and earned her Paratrooper badge while in the Army.
After transitioning from active duty, Dr. Shields knew the importance of Physical Therapy to the many wounded soldiers returning from war, and wanted to help them have the best quality of life possible. She was named a Pat Tillman Military Scholar while she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Neumann University in 2013.
Dr. Shields is proud of her military service and a strong advocate for female professionals and working moms. Together with Dr. Andrea Davis, she is working to raise the bar in healthcare by providing progressive care using the latest cutting edge technology. At Davis Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, she works primarily with athletes and has a special interest in ACL rehab and Concussion care.
