    A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”

    DEVOTION
    Based on Ezekiel 36
    God promises complete transformation—replacing our hardened hearts with hearts of flesh, sensitive to His voice. Our natural tendency is resistance, but through His Spirit, He softens us, making us responsive to His guidance. This renewal is not based on our strength but on His divine work within us.

    A new heart means new desires, new purpose, and a life aligned with God’s will. His Spirit empowers us to walk in obedience, not as a burden but as a joyful response to His love. This is the essence of true spiritual renewal—God does the work, and we live in His grace.

    Take a moment tonight to reflect on the state of your heart. Breathe out stubbornness, and breathe in God’s renewing Spirit. Ask Him to soften your heart and lead you in His ways.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
    ADORATION: Praise God for His power to transform hearts. Worship Him as the One who removes hardness and fills us with His Spirit.

    CONFESSION: Reflect on areas where your heart has been resistant to God’s leading. Confess any pride, doubt, or disobedience, asking Him to renew your spirit.

    THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the gift of His Spirit, which enables you to walk in obedience. Express gratitude for His patience and grace in shaping your heart.

    SUPPLICATION: Father, replace my hardened heart with one that is soft and responsive to You. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I may walk in Your ways. Help me to desire what pleases You and to follow You with all my heart. Let my life reflect the transformation You have done in me.

    PRAYER

    Dear God, The very power that breathed life into Adam and Eve, and spoke life to the valley of dry bones, lives in me. Your Spirit gives me life. I pray that I would be transformed every day by Your Spirit. I pray that You would constantly convict and comfort me through Your Spirit. Wherever my heart is hardened, like rocky soil, I pray You would soften. Till the ground of my heart so I may be fertile for Your work. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
