  • On this episode, Camara shared his perspectives on various pathways to African Diaspora engagement, especially as professionals and entrepreneurs. He also shared Omek’s psychographic segmentation of the African diaspora community as a strategic approach towards entrepreneurship development.  Camara is a social entrepreneur, economist and community organizer. Over the last 20 years, He has founded startups, built non-profit organizations, and played various leadership roles in community organizations. He is a strong believer in diversity and inclusion and a big advocate of representation. He enjoys bringing people from diverse backgrounds to work together toward a common goal. He is the Founder and CEO at Omek, an organization with the mission to unlock and share the talent, voices, and energy of the African diaspora. Camara shared his perspectives on various pathways to African Diaspora engagement, especially as professionals and entrepreneurs.
