  • At 47 years of age, I realize that I have strayed from my path, and have not truly developed mastery in my life. Twenty years ago, I left the Amish community that I grew up in, but returned last summer to live and work among the Amish in the very house I helped my dad build when I was a teenager.

    Moving back to my hometown with my wife and teenagers has given me a fresh perspective on the values and patterns of life that the Amish have maintained, and I'm learning from them as I pursue a return to the true path that was laid out for me.

    In this episode I talk about what I'm learning and how I'm applying it to my life in my pursuit of mastery and the good life. I talk about work ethic, AI, technology, and the realization that the Kingdom of Heaven is not a future destination, but a reality that is at hand, manifesting itself around me as I live, work, and raise my family in the land of my forefathers.
