    Episode seven of the Ethnicity Speaks podcast is live! We recently had the pleasure of catching up with the wonderful Ngone Ndiaye, who shared her insights and experiences in the fast-changing world of tech – tune in to hear Ngone’s journey as a software engineer, the importance of celebrating diversity in tech teams, and the impact of lifelong learning.

    After completing her IT degree at university, Ngone began working as a Software Engineer. She has always had a passion for exploring new technologies and finding ways to automate tasks, which led her to delve into the world of DevOps culture. Ngone is particularly fascinated by Kubernetes and its ecosystem.

    Currently, she holds the position of Senior Platform Engineer at NatWest Boxed. In the last decade, she's dedicated her career to specialising in payment systems, banking, and fintech. It's been an exciting journey, and she's had the opportunity to contribute to various projects and gain valuable experience in these fields.

    Blessing Adogame, a global citizen raised in Nigeria, Germany, Scotland, and the United States, draws on her diverse upbringing to empower individuals worldwide. Her nomadic life instilled a profound appreciation for learning and adaptability. Each transition between countries became an opportunity for self-discovery, fostering resilience in the face of challenges.

    Her commitment to supporting student development and access to education became evident during her time at university. Blessing initiated a global campaign that successfully mobilised over 20,000 students on LinkedIn, emphasising the importance of unlocking one's full potential.

    Beyond the digital world, Blessing shares her insights at the United Nations, schools globally, and STEM workshops supporting young black girls in the tech industry. Leveraging her diverse background, she actively unlocks doors for others and passionately advocates for the transformative power of education on a local and global scale.

    Whitney (she/her) is the Head of DE&I at Missive, a London-based independent communications & PR consultancy that specialises in technology.

    Whitney is a BME Pros Xec Leadership graduate and board member of the PRCA’s Race Ethnicity Equity Board (REEB). She is currently pursuing an accreditation with Inclusive Employers for a CMI level 4 award in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

    She originally started her career in Boston before moving to San Francisco where she was introduced to the world of tech PR. Five years ago, Whitney made the move across the pond where she has continued to build her DE&I knowledge and expertise.

    Professionally, as a Supply Chain Manager based in Northern England, he adeptly navigates complexities in multiple European factories, contributing to 3M's groundbreaking material science innovations known globally.

    This week, UK Ambassador Irfaan Choychoo sat down with Manjinder Kainth, CEO of Graide to talk about achieving equity within the education space.

    Manjinder Kainth is the co-founder and CEO of Graide (www.graide.co.uk). During his PhD, where he was also a teaching assistant, he encountered issues associated with providing assessment and feedback at scale. As a result he and his co-founders created Graide - an AI enhanced grading platform. It is used in many universities and vocational education programs worldwide. Graide can be used for mathematics, short text, essays and reports.
