Jocko, Mylett, Goggins, Grover, or any other "mentally tough" guru you want to mention holds no candle to the most mentally tough man to ever live, King Jesus. They are mere shells to the one who invented mental toughness, the growth mindset, and the one who gave/gives His life for us. But, there's a reason He was able to do what he did. It wasn't mantra's, a solid morning routine as those are bi-products of a strong mind, even necessary... it was something else.
