Listen to this powerful verse from the Gospel of Matthew: Chapter 28, verse 19 says... Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Did you know that the word “go” in this verse means something closer to “as you go along”? That means you don’t have to travel, necessarily, anywhere out of the ordinary in order to start sharing the Good News of Jesus.
You just start right where you are. Start with the people around you, the ones you know already, and anyone new that you might meet. Start with the opportunities God puts right in your path today.
The Gospel is a wonderful gift. It’s not ours to keep for ourself or to keep secret. It’s a gift for every person that we bring in the name of Jesus. Take a risk and begin to share openly what Jesus has done in your life.
