D.J. thought it was pure cringe and embarrassing and he has a lot more to say about that on this week's F-R Racing's Garage Talk.First off, as we kick off the show, we jump right into the F1 75 live show. For those who missed it, they brought all 10 teams together at the O2 Arena in London to unveil all new liveries and introduce the drivers in the cringiest way possible.Next, we discuss the iRacing Developers update including official announcement for a new track used by IndyCar that has been long missing from the service. We also talk the new ARCA car and some other changes including a controversial one of a "poor connection" alert to drop drivers off the track who are ruining races due to their poor internet connection.Finally, we get into Daytona 500 weekend and discuss everything from the blocks, Ryan Preece flipping his car (again), races ending under caution, penalties, disqualification for Parker Kligerman, and an extremely messy ARCA race on Saturday morning.

Erik and D.J. are joined this week by their Wednesday Night Dash teammate, Nick Warboy. Nick has been on the iRacing platform for a couple of years armed with his Thurstmaster T150 racing wheel and he shares his story along with some NASCAR Championship 4 predictions.

First up, we introduce Nick Warboy to the audience and how he's had success on the iRacing platform still using his introductory Thurstmaster T150 racing wheel. He shares a story about how when the pedal set broke during a race at Martinsville and having to finish the race with an Xbox controller.

On the second half of the show, we discuss building a league and attracting the type of drivers you want to come back to your league season after season, and experience driving in other leagues.

Finally, we preview the Daytona 500, talk about the entries including the special provision which will guarantee a spot in the field for Helio Castroneves, and we make our Championship 4 predictions.

On this week's Garage Talk, we hang out with John Miles. John owns JM Motorsports, races with us on Wednesday Night Dash and other events. We talk to him about the process of building a sim racing team.

First up, John is a college student at the University of Missouri so we discuss how does he balance iRacing with college and other activities. Side note: if Erik and D.J. had iRacing back in college, things probably would have not gone well. John goes into his process of how he built his team originally with his childhood best friend Jax Malan and the interesting place where they met Lane Snow.

Next, we talk about the challenges of finding sponsors for an esports/sim racing team. John has managed to secure some sponsorships of large companies through meeting with local locations.

Finally, we close out the show talking about the NASCAR Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. How was the clash? Was it better than LA? Should they go back there next year?

We're back with our second episode of 2025 and we have a lot to talk about regarding the drama at the Rolex 24, some iRacing league previews, and D.J. pulls out his 90s NASCAR diecast collection.

First up, there is a lot to digest from the weekend including a post-race disqualification for one of the class winners, Tommy Milner's "iconic" reaction to a BMW driver, a big wreck during the overnight hours, and a massive wreck to start the second race of the MX-5 Cup. We checked in with our friend Heather Hadley, who was part of the big wreck and she confirmed she was ok.

Next, D.J. decides to pull out his case of 1990s NASCAR diecast and we review some of the sponsors we used to see in NASCAR back in the 90s and the hilarious "edits" to the tobacco and alcohol sponsors on the "kids" versions of the cars. What, no Miller Lite car for the kids?

Finally, we preview the upcoming iRacing Indy Racing World Series league, which kicks off Tuesday, February 4th at 10 pm on Stadium Scene TV .
