I’m Lindsay—a Jesus-loving wife and mom of 3. As a working Christian mom myself, I know firsthand the struggle of trying to balance career, motherhood, and faith. For years, I lived stuck in overwhelm—running on empty, stretched too thin, and believing the enemy’s lies that I was failing in every area.

But everything began to change when I prioritized my relationship with God, rooted myself in Scripture, and created boundaries and rhythms that aligned with my faith. I discovered freedom, peace, and balance I didn’t think were possible.

And that’s what I want for you too!

    In today’s episode, we’re continuing the mini series on experiencing God’s peace by talking about surrender—what it actually looks like in real life and how it helps quiet anxiety, reduce overwhelm, and bring more steadiness into your day.

    Because surrender doesn’t mean you stop showing up. It means you stop carrying what was never yours to control.

    If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in “what if” thinking, this episode will give you a simple, faith-based way to begin releasing that pressure and walking in greater peace.

    When you notice your mind spiraling into “what if” thoughts:

    What if this doesn’t work out? What if I make the wrong decision? What if I can’t keep up?

    Pause and bring that thought before the Lord:

    “God, I place this in Your hands.” “Lord, guide me in what is mine to do today.” “Father, help me trust You with what I cannot control.”

    You can also take a few minutes to write down one situation that feels heavy and intentionally surrender it to God in prayer.

    Do you ever feel like your mind is constantly holding a running list of responsibilities, worries, decisions, and unfinished thoughts?

    Many Christian working moms carry an invisible mental load — managing schedules, supporting their families, thinking ahead, solving problems, and trying to stay present in the middle of it all.

    In this episode, we continue our 4-part series on experiencing God’s peace by looking at how prayer helps us release what we were never meant to carry alone.

    Prayer is not about saying the perfect words. Prayer is about transferring what feels heavy from our minds into God’s hands.

    When we bring our concerns to God, we are reminded that we do not have to mentally solve everything on our own.

    Peace often grows when we stop gripping everything tightly and begin trusting God with what feels uncertain.
