This episode will focus on the Black clergy's perspective on mental health and their collaboration with mental health clinicians to promote understanding and provide mental health counseling services within the Black church. We have the honor of hosting Reverend Dr. Matthew Quainoo, the senior pastor of Solid Rock Community Church in Kissimmee, Florida.

Episode 3 explores the impact of racial microaggressions on the mental health of Black women, leading to health disparities. These disparities are a result of the historical mistreatment of Black women (Lewis et al., 2017). Social workers collaborating with Black churches must recognize and confront discriminatory practices within systems that contribute to the development of mental health stressors (Walton & Oyewuwo-Gassika, 2017).
