  • This episode we discuss materialism, hyper capitalism, and the growth of nihilism. Materialism and capitalism are leading us to make choices that are not in our best interests, such as spending money we don't have on things we don't need. Bringing us feelings of emptiness and meaninglessness. We need to find ways to work against the negative effects of these forces. We should focus on community and relationships, finding ways to live more sustainably and mindfully, and creating an environment where people feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings. There is an importance of having a constructive conversation about the environmental factors that affect our decision making. We need to be able to talk about these issues without fear of judgment or reprisal. A healthy and open conversation is essential for creating a better future.
