  • We welcome Kyle to the show! So fortunate to sit down with him and get to talk about his career in contract forestry. Coming from the midwest Kyle was lucky to grow up in the land of lakes but was eager to explore the PNW. After college he made his way to the west and found various jobs working as a forester, living out of his car and exploring numerous national forests.

    Kyle has made a living performing surveys, most notably the Forest Inventory Analysis (FIA) surveys for local national forests. He shares some of his most notable growing moments in his career and fine tuning his survey skills.
