  • The NFL Continues To Support DEI
    Feb 6 2025

Jason & Amin discuss the NFL continuing its support of DEI. Roger Goodell spoke about how opening up the talent pool at all levels has benefited the league. The guys point out that it's weird that Roger Goodell makes those comments, yet they also decide to no longer place 'End Racism' in the end zones at this year's Super Bowl, all the while the President, who is making ending DEI a priority, will be in attendance. Amin feels the timing is just a little too coincidental. Discussion turns to the NBA gambling investigations and how some college teams, including HBCUs, are involved in unusual wavering activity. Every sport needs to do whatever it needs to do to protect its integrity. The show wraps with a conversation on how some colleges & pro teams are celebrating Black History Month.

From there, they move on to the head coaching vacancies as of now, & list some of the potential men who can get those jobs. The guys react to former NFL star DeSean Jackson being named the new head coach for Delaware State University. Jackson is the latest former NFL star taking the reins at an HBCU. Jackson's hire is already paying off for DSU as he has already recruited future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates' son, Antonio Gates Jr. Following that discussion, the guys talk about Deion Sanders and his comments about incorrect reporting involving his players entering the draft this year. The guys also react to the fact that Sanders' son Shedeur and Travis Hunter will not attend the draft in Green Bay, opting to remain in Boulder to watch the draft with the rest of the Colorado Buffaloes. Finally, the guys chat about Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson and Josh Hart's discussion on who would win if the two played against each other.
