  • Résumé

  • Welcome to a series of in-depth expert conversations with leading figures in science and policy. We explore how science can enable better, more holistic decision-making for policy.

The challenges we face today are as stark as they are complex; the COVID-19 pandemic and the climate emergency are just two among many that we must address. Now is the time to look to science as a tool to enable better decision making; an interface through which policy is driven by evidence. To enable that, science must be open, science must be trusted, and science must be accessible.

The interviews are led by Jean Claude Burgelman, Professor of Open Science Policy at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) and former Head of Unit for Open Science Policy at the European Commission. Jean Claude is the Editor in Chief of Frontiers’ Policy Labs.

We're rethinking the world with science.
