He is the group lead for the Cape Heart Institute’s Cardiac Imaging and Inflammation research group, which has done a variety of leading research during the Covid-19 pandemic.

    In this conversation, we discuss this medical interplay, specifically in African patient populations, and how it can inform our understanding and treatment.
