As a Middle East scholar, Arabic linguist and counterterrorism expert, Malcolm has authored over ten books including five NY Times best sellers on Islamic extremist terrorism, Russian cyber-espionage & intelligence operations, as well as domestic terrorism motivated by right wing nationalism.

He was MSNBC terrorism snd intelligence contributor for seven years. He served in the Ukrainian Army International Legion on the Eastern Front.
