    Career IT Leader Andy Ivey has been the CIO at Carollo Engineers for three years. For most of that time and before, IT has not performed well compared to the company in engagement. That all changed in 2023 when he utilized team development in the form of leadership development for leaders at all levels of his 47-person organization, including individual and group training in three cohorts of LeadershipN Accelerator. All levels of his organization received personalized Strengths Coaching and group sessions to grow their Trust, Teaming, Harmony, and Results. As Andy reports that he is off the list of underperformance in the company and very happy not to have that HR conversation!

    I'm interviewing my good friend and longtime customer, Andy Ivey! Andy has risen through the ranks in the IT industry through hard work, determination, and focus which is rare. A servant leader in all walks of life, he has been a rowing coach, BBQ blogger and recently entered reluctantly into politics. After recently moving to Hamilton, Texas to create a hobby ranch and optimize the growth environment for his family, he applied all his strengths to create a goat and cattle ranch, along with chickens, using Social Media to break all the rules and gain a seat in his first run! Finding out that the local school board had allowed an ill-conceived 800-acre solar farm with massive tax breaks, he began speaking out. Neighbors demanded that he run for school board. The odds were not in his favor, but he won the election, and you’ll hear the rest of the story along with his backstory today. Enjoy getting to pear into the mind of a great human being, and natural leader!
