As mothers and wives, our responsibilities are vast. Therefore, we must be disciplined to ensure that we are holistically well and optimally postured to accomplish God’s purposes.

The first three episodes helped us to know our purpose, have our priorities in order, and know that when God gives permission, we can still pursue our dreams even though the route may look different.

But now, we need to talk about caring for ourselves, as we cannot pour from an empty cup.

We should have a disciplined prayer life, exercise life, and time apart from our job.

As we battle with leaving our work outside of the home, we question whether our degrees and skills were for naught. This is one of the enemy's tactics and it is a lie! Your skills, your education, and your career progression thus far don't have to die with your transition to moving in your purpose. However, they will look different and dare I say, better.

Our God is a God of decency and order. As it relates to the family, the order is God, Husband, Wife, and children. The world would have us believe that the “roles” were for people back then and not for today’s society. But the character of God; that is, the decency and order aspect of Him, hasn’t changed just because the world has. First things first, let's get our priorities in order.
