    We will never achieve lasting weight loss until we release the try and strive and start to focus on obedience to the Holy Spirit regardless of the outcome. He's waiting for you to let go.

    I overate big time at Christmas, our new baby is here, we had much celebrating to do! But one morning I woke up feeling like I'd downed 3 bottles of cabernet, sugar hangovers are the worst!

    How do we enjoy fellowship without sabotaging our goals?
    1. Focus on who you're with, not your plate.
    2. Bring a healthy dish if eating at someone's home. Cook a healthy meal if at your home or check out the menu if you're eating out.
    3. Have a plan, be mindful, practice discernment.

    Let's practice balancing social AND spiritual nourishment. We can and we must if God is going to lead our weight loss goals.
